This tour starts in Sierpe of Osa at 8:00 a.m. We take the boat heading towards the mouth of the Sierpe River. This Ramsar site is the largest mangrove area in Central America. Moreover, this huge protected area is the habitat for a large amount of species, especially for aquatic ones. Many of them will show up while we navigate. The list might include crocodiles, snakes, monkeys, and aquatic birds which are frequently sighted a long the mangrove. Once we pass the mouth of the river, we will continue navigating on the ocean towards Corcovado National Park. The park hosts a large number of species including 600 species of insects, 375 species of birds, 6 of wild cats, 67 species of amphibians and reptiles, and 4 different species of monkeys.
